Poolside Golf is a tournament pool tracker built for friend groups. We take privacy seriously and keep things simple: we collect the minimum necessary to make the app work, and we don't sell or share your data.

What we collect

Mobile phone number — collected when you sign in via SMS. Used only to send your one-time login code and optional tournament notifications. We do not store your number beyond what's needed to identify your pool membership.

Login token — a random string stored in your browser's local storage that keeps you signed in on this device. It contains no personal information. You can clear it by clearing your browser data.

Draft picks and scores — your tournament selections and associated scoring data, stored to power the pool tracker.

What we don't collect

We do not collect your name, email address, location, payment information, or any data beyond what's listed above. We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party cookies.

SMS messages

By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Poolside Golf, including one-time login codes and tournament notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

How we use your data

Your phone number is used to authenticate you and deliver notifications you've requested. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data storage

Pool data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore. SMS delivery is handled by Twilio. We retain your data for as long as you're an active pool member. Contact your pool admin to request removal.
